Pros review the request and either accept, decline with a note, or send a custom quote. You're not charged until they accept.

When you send a booking request, the pro receives an instant notification. You'll see one of three outcomes:
- Accepted — the booking is locked in and we authorize your card. You'll get a confirmation email.
- Quoted — the pro replies with a custom price (common for non-standard work). You confirm to lock it in.
- Declined — the pro can't take the job and includes a reason. You're not charged.
Response time
Pros are graded on response time. The badge under their name shows their median — most reply within three hours during business days.
